Survived By: He is survived by two sons, Keith Russell and Kenneth Ryan Klontz; his parents, Russell and Natalie Klontz of Washington Court House; a brother and sister-in-law, Kurt and Sherie Klontz of Lee's Summit, Missouri; a sister and brother-in-law, Karin and Mark Rife of Jeffersonville; the mother of his children, Tracie Rogers of Xenia; a nephew; seven nieces; three great nephews and a great niece.
Affiliations: He was an Army veteran of the Persian Gulf War and served during Operation Desert Storm. He was a member of Paul H. Hughey Post #25 of the American Legion; O. E. Hardway Post # 3762 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars; attended the Grace United Methodist Church and was a member of Washington Lodge #129 of the Fraternal Order of Elks.

 Kevin Ryan Klontz, 38, of Washington Court House was pronounced dead on arrival at Fayette County Memorial Hospital on Monday, March 7, 2011. His death was sudden and unexpected.
     Kevin was born September 15, 1972 in Xenia, Ohio to Russell and Natalie McLean Klontz.  He was a 1990 graduate of Miami Trace High School and attended Wright State University.  He lived most of his life in the Washington Court House community where he was a driver for All Star Food Services.
     He was an Army veteran of the Persian Gulf War and served during Operation Desert Storm.  He was a member of Paul H. Hughey Post #25 of the American Legion; O. E. Hardway Post # 3762 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars; attended the Grace United Methodist Church and was a member of Washington Lodge #129 of the Fraternal Order of Elks.
     Kevin was preceded in death by an infant brother, Keith Russell Klontz in 1960 and his grandparents.
     He is survived by two sons, Keith Russell and Kenneth Ryan Klontz; his parents, Russell and Natalie Klontz of Washington Court House; a brother and sister-in-law, Kurt and Sherie Klontz of Lee's Summit, Missouri; a sister and brother-in-law, Karin and Mark Rife of Jeffersonville; the mother of his children, Tracie Rogers of Xenia; a nephew; seven nieces; three great nephews and a great niece.
     The funeral will be Friday, March 11, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Kevin's niece, the Rev. Becky Klontz Barnard, director of youth ministries at the Grace United Methodist Church and the Rev. Ronald R. Dodds, pastor at Grace United Methodist Church, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery. 
     Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
     Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
