On Sunday, December 26, 2010 Beaver, Howard Raymond, 69, of Wheeling, passed away from complications of Leukemia.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired from Federal Service. He worked for the HQ. U.S. Army Associated Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Pentagon, HQ U.S. Air Force Associated Chief of Staff for Intelligence Aero Space and Weapons Technology Division, Pentagon and in 1985 Transferred to the HQ U.S. Air Force Intelligence Command, San Antonio, TX retiring there in 1994. He possessed Top Secret Special Compartmented Intelligence Security Clearances.

He was an accomplished musician, playing Hawaiian Guitar, Pedal Steel Guitar and Guitar.

Mr. Beaver is survived by his mother, Nellie Schaffer; his wife, Dr. Julie Beaver, Germanstown, MD, ; a son, Jackson "Shooter" Beaver; a brother, John W. Beaver and a sister-in-law, Ellis of Warriors Mark, PA; and a brother, Gary Hoffman and his wife, Patty of Wheeling.

There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be conducted by the Moundsville Honor Guard on Thursday, December 29, 2010 at 1:30 p.m,.at Mt.Zion Cemetery,Wheeling.
