Sandra L. Mason 67 of Colliers, WV went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at home with her family by her side.

 Born on January 23, 1943 in Dublin, VA she was the daughter of the late Arbie Lee Phillips and Louise Nicewander Phillips of Follansbee, WV.

 She served her Lord and the church faithfully. Sandra was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Weirton, WV. Her involvement at the church included being the Director of Children’s Ministries for 20 years along with writing an Easter drama entitled “He Took Our Place” which was performed at the church.  She was instrumental in starting the Caravan Program and founded with her husband, Gary the Kritterville USA Puppet Ministry.

She worked as a secretary for many years for the West Virginia State Board of Pharmacy.  She was involved with starting the Hooverson Heights Public Service District and also worked as the office secretary.

Sandra was a 1961 graduate of Follansbee High School.

 Surviving in addition to her mother is her Husband of 40 years, Gary W. Mason

One Daughter, Jennifer “Jenny” Mason of Pickerington, OH

 Friends will be received on Monday, December 20th from 4-8 P.M.  and again on Tuesday, December 21st from 10:00 A.M. until time of the service at 11:00 A.M. at the First Church of the Nazarene at 475 Colliers Way Weirton, WV with the Rev. Dana Snodgrass, the Rev. Larry Barkley, and Chaplain George Romage all officiating.

Entombment will follow in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens in Follansbee, WV.
